Coaching is unlocking a person’s potential to maximise their own performance. It is about helping people to learn and become more resilient. Gallway, an outstanding tennis coach, taught us that the biggest obstacles to achieving success are internal and not external.

Do you or a staff member need some personal coaching and guidance?

Personal coaching helps individuals to improve performance, solve problems or become unstuck where growth is required.

Together we facilitate learning through following a structured process towards learning goals.

Coaching sessions generally last between 1-3 hours and have an agenda for each session. This is one-on-one learning at its best!

Marjon’s Coaching is based on The Competence Cycle Model of Learning

The Competence Cycle is a four-stage model that can help you identify your competences:

1. Unconscious Incompetence

You don’t know that you don’t know about something. For example, not knowing that you don’t know how to drive a car.

2. Conscious Incompetence

You have become aware that you lack a particular skill. Once you are behind the steering wheel, you realise you cannot drive.

3. Conscious Competence

You have learned how to do something, but you still need to think about it in order to do it. A learner driver is very aware of his/her driving skills but still need to learn to do so with confidence.

4. Unconscious Competence

You have learned how to something so well that that you do so without thinking – new habits have been created. You no longer have to think about how you do it, but just do it.
